We first met many years ago and when we moved to South Africa in the 80's Connie's brother Peter came to visit and stayed with us with his best friend Steve. We found Steve to be instantly likeable and easy going with a dry sense of humour. Everyone he met enjoyed his company and we have lots of fond memories. Rest in peace Steve.

Stephen Martin was a close friend for over 50 years, he was the brother I never had. Stephen had special qualities that I admired, loyalty, honesty and an adventurous spirit that put him head and shoulders above others. I was extremely lucky to know Stephen and like so many others who knew him will feel a great loss on his passing.
